Body of 24-year-old youth with his throat slit was today found from an abandoned area in Vijay Nagar here, police said today.
The body of Surendra was found yesterday from a forlorn area near CSD canteen in Vijay Nagar area bearing a slit mark on its throat, they said.
Surendra worked at a private company here and was living with his wife in a rented house at Gali No 3 of Sector 9, the Station House Officer (SHO), Vijay Nagar police station, said.
According to victim's brother-in-law Dharmendra, Surendra's had lent Rs 60,000 to a friend Pradeep who had called him up yesterday to repay the money, the SHO said.
An FIR has been lodged in the case against suspect Pradeep, who is at large, he added.
