Youth killed in bike accident in Punjab

A 22-year-old youth was killed after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck near Dharamkot, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday when the deceased, identified as Sandeep Singh, was killed after his motorcycle collided with a truck coming from opposite direction, they said.

The truck driver, who managed to flee with his vehicle after the incident, identified as Jaspal Singh, police said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and hunt is on to nab the accused, police said.
