China to encourage private funds to invest in defence firms - cabinet

BEIJING (Reuters) - China will encourage private funds to invest in defence firms to promote reform in the industry, China's cabinet said on Monday.

China will encourage defence firms to list on the stock market or invest in listed companies, the State Council said in guidelines issued to further open up the military industry.
