Astrologers Say It Could Be Sabotage

The 22nd national seminar organised by the All India Astrologers' Federation yesterday expressed sympathy with the families of those killed in New Delhi's Uphaar cinema tragedy and cautioned the central government that it could be an act of antinational elements.
Delivering the valedictory address to the day-long seminar, the federation president Mohan Bhai Parasharam Patel appealed to the government to put the security forces on alert as acts of sabotage could be carried out by espionage agencies of hostile countries till March 1998.
In view of the planetary configuration, the government should beware of anti-national forces, who might trigger off disturbances to disrupt the golden jubilee celebration of Indian independence, he said.
The conference urged the government to promote indigenous arts, crafts and cottage industries to solve the problem of unemployement.
