Boe Monitoring Surging Silver Mkt

The Bank of England (BoE) said it was monitoring the silver market on Wednesday but declined to comment whether it had called a meeting with the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) to discuss price moves in the metal. The precious metal was around a 10-year high of 6.98/7.03 cents an ounce in early trade in London. (Reuters)
