In the wake of the Chandralok fire incident here,the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has ordered a survey of the fire safety mechanism in all their multi-storeyed buildings in Delhi and Mumbai. The chairman and managing director, S Rajagopalan issued an instruction on Thursday to the two chief general managers at Delhi and Mumbai to get all their multi-storeyed buildings thoroughly examined for fire safety measures.
