Craig Ibsen Is Ab Electrolux Chief In India

Craig Ibsen has been appointed as president of the AB Electrolux group in India.

The boards of directors of Maharaja International Ltd (MIL) and Intron Ltd--the two group subsidiaries of AB Electrolux in India--met yesterday and passed a resolution appointing Craig Ibsen as the president of the group in India.

Lennart Ribohn, senior executive vice-president of AB Electrolux and president of new markets division was selected as chairman of MIL and Intron.

Craig Ibsen joined the Electrolux group in May 1996 as vice-president, marketing and sales, MIL.

Since joining Electrolux, he has been heading the relaunch of the Kelvinator brand in the Indian market.

 

In India, AB Electrolux holds 51 per cent equity in Maharaja International Ltd and 51 per cent in Intron.

Electrolux, which sells household appliances in India under the Electrolux and Kelvinator brands, holds a 40 per cent equity stake in Eureka Forbes.
