Oakridge Brand To Go International

Mirza is the fourth Indian leather company to sell its shoes abroad under its own brand name, after Farida, Liberty and Lakhani.
There are two varieties, formal and casual, in men's shoes, says Rashid Mirza, MD of the company.
Oakridge is the formal men's shoe but for casuals, he said it was not advisable to enter the market with an unknown brand. Therefore, the company is planning to take a well known international brand name on franchise basis. The negotiations are in the final stages.
