Radisson Set To Unveil Delhi Hotel In February

A five-star, 260-room Radisson Hotel, adjacent to New Delhi's international airport, will open by February 1997, sources said.

Besides two executive club floors with luxury rooms, a health club, executive club, business centre, banquet and conference facilities, the hotel will also have a sports bar, Radisson executives said.

In Calcutta, the group is to build a four-star hotel approximately 56km from the city centre, sources said. The hotel, which will overlook the Ganges, is scheduled to open in January next year and is being developed by Ganpati Greenfields, a part of the Gujarat Ambuja Cements group.

Radisson Land's End Plaza Hotel in Mumbai will have 536 rooms and suites with

 

parking facility for 550 cars, sources said.

As part of its thrust towards Asia, Radisson recently signed agreements to develop 20 additional hotels in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Bhutan.

As of now, Radisson has property in China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.
