Under the extended strategic business alliance, SGI will adopt Unicenter TNG and the Unicenter Object model as the de facto standard solution for enterprise management. SGI will also bundle and ship the Unicenter TNG Framework to users of Silicon Graphics IRIX operating system, delivering advanced manageability of the Silicon Graphics Origin servers and O2 and Octane workstations in heterogenous environments.

As part of the agreement CA will become a member of the Silicon Graphics developer program, granting CA access to beta systems, early IRIX versions, and compiler and protocol revisions. CA and Silicon Graphics will further co-operate through sales referral programmes, joint marketing efforts and shared field engagement sessions around the world.
