The Group was promoted by Mr.K.L.Chopra about three decades back and later Mr.Satish Chopra, Mr.Kapil Chopra & Mr.Nishit Chopta joined their fathers hands to strengthen the group. the group is well known for its high quality products and enjoys monopoly in certain products. Various companies of the group include:

SKN Industries Limited is a public limited co., which already has set up a storage and bottling plant of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It is also manufacturing commercial as well domestic regulators, valves and adopters and other equipment. The Company also in proposes to set up its own storage and unloading faciilites of LPG in Gujarat.

 

SKN Breweries Ltd. is presently engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Mineral Water under the brand name Penguin in technical collaboration with a reputed UK based company - Berry Ledermen & Associates. They are manufacturing mineral water at Faridabad (Haryana) and Delhi. After successful response from market, it has recently started its own plants for mineral water in Up and Rajasthan and are planning to set up atleast six more plants in different parts of country. In addition, they are in process of manufacturing beer and scotch whisky in foreign technical collaboration. For beer they have already tied up foreign collaboration with M/s International Food & Beverage Services, Auckland, Newzealand.

Bentex Control & Switchgear Co. the firm started manufacutirng electrical motor starters of all kinds in 1960. Since then their products are being marketed throughout India.Bentex Linger & Switchgear Company started manufacturing electrical items in 1987. At present, the company is engaged in manufacturing of MCB & ELCB, MCBs. etc. The products are approved and accepted by many government authorities & departments. These products are marketed throughout the country very successfully.

Bentex Towers Pvt.ltd., owns properties at Naraina which has been let out to Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd., at a monthly rent of Rs.9 lakh per annum. Besides, the company also runs manufcturing unit for valves for LPG Stoves and tape deck mechanism.
