The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to accord clearance to all investment proposals in the state under a single window system. Udyog Bandhu, the investment promotion wing of the state government will be the single point responsible for entry of all industries under the new scheme, chief secretary of UP government R S Mathur said here yesterday. Once application from an entrepreneur is submitted, clearances relating to land use, environment, pollution management, power, water and sewerage connection will be followed up by officials to ensure time-bound clearance.
