Airtel launches value added service card in state

Airtel launched India's first value added service (VAS) cards in Gujarat to further consolidate its customers base in the state.
 
The value added service card have been made available in three options to Airtel customers viz. Ringtonez, Funz and Gamez card.
 
Airtel subscribers can download logos, picture messages, ringtones, wallpapers, video themes, screen savers and games through these VAS cards.
 
A range of free contents have also loaded on each of these cards and the entire offer has been designed for both post and prepaid customers, giving them the added freedom to allocate budget on their VAS usage.
 
Atul Joshi, chief operating officer, Bharti Cellular, Gujarat circle said, "Airtel has once again taken the lead to provide unparalleled benefits to both its prepaid and postpaid customers. With the launch of the Airtel Live cards, we are confident that it would attract more number of our customers to use our range of innovative value added services."
 
Joshi further said it would attract more number of customers to use our range of innovative value added services and bound to enhance the mobile telephony experience of all our customers and these initiative aimed at increasing adoption and usage of value added services amongst both prepaid and post customers.
 
Airtel Live cards made available at select retail outlets have been specially configured for loading VAS content and not making voice calls.
 
The cost of VAS cards varies from Rs 110 to Rs 300 according to usage and options chosen.
