Even as most educational institutes in the country tackle the problem of infrastucture facilities due to growing intake of students, Centre for Environment Planning and Technology (CEPT), Ahmedabad is planning to take the online route to accomodate more students.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The university is learnt to be looking for more land near its existing campus. Additionally, an online programme could enable it to take more students from different parts of the country, said an official from CEPT. Currently there are 800 students at its campus. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>CEPT is working on developing a software which will be able to run programmes in Environmental Impact Assesment, Construction Technology and Management and Urban Infrastructure. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>Set to run for a duration of 6 months, the certificate programme could have an intake of 20 students. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>The proposal for the online programme has been put forward to the executive council of CEPT University, after which the proposal is likely to go in the UGC for clearance. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>The fee structure is yet to be worked out, added the official. Based on the response to these certificate programmes, the university will look at introducing one year diploma programmes. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
