Plans include a leadership development institute, training centre to educate clients and employees on online marketing. Launched three years ago, its present employee strength is 160. |
| While the Bangalore centre is focused on solutions architecture, client ramp-up and account management of the bluechip global customer base, the Mysore operational centre has set its eyes on the actual execution of projects for clients in the US, Canada, Europe, West Asia and Australia on a 24ô7 basis. |
| Incubated in 2002 with just four employees in Bangalore, Theorem India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Theorem Inc, has pioneered cutting-edge services to digital marketers offering data analysis and technology services. It has experienced a 50 per cent annual growth in 2007 and has ambitious plans for 2008 and beyond. |
| "Ours is a story of Karnataka roots," observed Theorem's founder and CEO Jay Kulkarni at a press meet in Mysore on Friday, on the eve of the Hebbal campus inauguration. "The Mysore operational centre is focused on the actual execution of projects for clients in US, Canada, Europe, West Asia and Australia on a 24/7 basis," said Chandrakanth B N, Theorem's co-founder and MD. |
| "Mysore offers manpower, besides the advantage of proximity to Bangalore. We are collaborating with the local academia. We have decided to grow in Mysore with an ultimate vision to house 5,000 people with a state-of-the-art facilities and investing in the local communities of Bangalore and Mysore," co-founder and managing director B N Chandrakanth said. |
| Serving 31 customers across the globe, including Double Click and Digitas, Theorem's growth plans include a London office in the first half of 2008 to service its customers in the European Union, besides expanding the Bangalore and Mysore teams, working with some of the leading Indian brands in the online market, he said. |
| "Global online advertising market is projected to grow from $46 billion to $75 billion by 2010. This shows that the internet is the fastest growth media in the world today. A traditional media company like BBC has realised the website growth value. More and more traditional media companies are going online. Even cities are working hard to be internet-enabled," said Kulkarni highlighting the scope for digital market. |
