| Bangalore-based InFact Group, a provider of on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) and eBusiness services has entered into an alliance with Ireland-based MobileAware, a mobile data services provider. |
| The partnership will enable InFact to extend their existing CRM systems, such as Siebel CRM OnDemand, to provide mobile field force a real-time snapshot of customer interactions from any mobile device. |
| Announcing the partnership, here on Friday, InFact Group managing director Vinod Reddy said, "In the next five years, the number of global worldwide web users will quadruple to 2 billion people. One billion of the new users will access the web using mobile devices running various consumer and enterprise applications. We will bring real-time access to enterprise CRM and portal applications." |
| The InFact Group will use MobileAware's device tailored content rendering technology to provide customers, particularly in financial service, trave and manufacturing industries with a low-risk solution to mobile the data contained in their installed CRM systems. |
| The joint partnership will initially target InFact's portfolio of CRM and eBusiness customers in India and Asia Pacific and will expand to further global regions before the end of 2006, Reddy said. |
| Mobile CRM has become a critical requirement for any organisation engaging in high-value prospect and customer interactivity. According to Visiongain, an analyst firm, the mobile CRM market will grow from the current 10 per cent of total CRM revenues to 20 per cent by 2010. |
