Nokia to suspend handset production at Chennai factory next month

Microsoft has told Nokia that it is terminating the contracted manufacturing services of the Finnish phone maker

Microsoft has informed Nokia that it will be terminating the manufacturing services defined in an agreement between the two companies starting November 1, 2014. In absence of further orders from Microsoft, Nokia will suspend handset production at the Sriperumbudur facility next month.
