With Indore’s high-scoring reputation, New Zealand will feel confident with this total, and it promises to be an exciting run-chase in the second half of the game.

India skipper Shubman Gill has won the toss and decided to field first on the day. Both skippers after the toss: Bracewell: We would have bowled first, but looks like a good batting pitch. It's a decider and an exciting opportunity for us to win our 1st ODI series here in India. They're getting used to international cricket and have made a good fist of it so far (on the new faces), but the pressure is on now and it's a good chance for them to play their best game. No changes from the last match.  Shubman Gill: We will bowl first. That's what we spoke, batting first, New Zealand put us under pressure. One of the decisions we're bowling fi8rst is that the surface looks good, don't expect a lot of dew, chasing could be better. Need to vary our lengths in the middle-overs, that's what we want to do. With Washington Sundar sidelined due to injury, Nitish Reddy steps in as a replacement, making this his crucial opportunity to showcase his skills. 

 

New Zealand has been impressive across all departments, with their top order firing and both spinners and pacers delivering strong performances. Despite their relatively lower experience, the Kiwis are confident and will look to make history with their first ODI series win on Indian soil.
