Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Bajaj Auto Ltd on Monday reported a 40 per cent jump in total sales in April at 5,13,792 units as against 3,65,810 units in the same month last year.
Total domestic sales were up 13 per cent at 2,48,210 units as compared to 2,20,615 units in April 2025, Bajaj Auto said in a statement.
Exports grew by 83 per cent at 2,65,582 units as compared to 1,45,195 units in the year-ago month, it added.
Two-wheeler sales in the domestic market were at 2,10,063 units last month as against 1,88,615 units in April 2025, a growth of 11 per cent, the company said.
Exports of two-wheelers jumped by 78 per cent to 2,29,890 units as against 1,29,322 units in the year-ago month, it added.
Total commercial vehicles sales were at 73,839 units in April 2026, as compared to 47,873 units in the same month last year, up 54 per cent, Bajaj Auto said.

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Monday dismissed the two petitions filed by Vedanta Ltd, where the mining group challenged the selection of Adani Enterprises' bid for debt-ridden Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL).
A two-member bench comprising Chairperson Ashok Bhushan and Member Technical Barun Mitra said: "No grounds have been made out by the appellant (Vedanta) to interfere with the decision of the adjudicating Authority (NCLT)."
"There is no merit in the appeal. Both appeals are dismissed. There shall be no orders to pass," said NCLAT.
The decision of the Committee of Creditors was based on "overall consideration of the respective resolution plan and was taken in its commercial wisdom," said the appellate tribunal.
NCLAT also said there has been "no material irregularity committed by Resolution Professional while conducting the plan resolution process."
