Josh Hartnett to star in thriller-drama 'Paradise Lost'

Josh Hartnett is starring in thriller series "Paradise Lost". According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 10-episode show by Paramount Network and Spectrum Originals will also feature Bridget Regan, Barbara Hershey and Nick Nolte. The series revolves around a psychiatrist (Regan) who moves to her husband's (Hartnett) hometown in Mississippi from California, where she uncovers secrets that change the lives of everybody involved. Rodes Fishburne has created and written the series. He is also attached as an executive producer and showrunner. Arika Lisanne Mittman and John Lee Hancock will serve as co-showrunners. Hancock will direct the pilot episode. The series will first arrive on the Charter Communications cable platform before its linear debut on Paramount Network. The release date of the show is yet to be announced.

'Sooryavanshi' release advanced to avert clash with 'Inshallah'

The release date of "Sooryavanshi" has been preponed to avoid a box office clash with "Inshallah", featuring Salman Khan, the makers of the Akshay Kumar-starrer announced on Wednesday. "Inshallah" and "Sooryavanshi" were all set to lock horns at the box office on Eid 2020 but now the Rohit Shetty directorial will arrive in theatres on March 27. "Sooryavanshi" producer Karan Johar shared the news on Twitter. "The ultimate Khiladi and the blockbuster director are arriving on 27th March, 2020 with #Sooryavanshi! Actor Riteish Deshmukh has joined the cast of the forthcoming action drama "Baaghi 3", which features Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who backs the "Baaghi" franchise, said he was thrilled to have the actor on board.
