Life has not changed much after 'Lion': Sunny Pawar

Child actor Sunny Pawar gained international fame with Australian film "Lion" but says he does not like when people refer to him as a star or a hero. Sunny is best known for his role as a younger Saroo Brierley in Garth Davis's 2016 biographical drama "Lion" which also featured Dev Patel as the older Saroo. "My life hasn't changed much after the film. It's still the same as it was before the release. People around me call me star and a hero. But I don't like it. I don't want to be called a star. I feel nice when people call me Sunny," the child star told PTI. He will be next seen in "Chippa", a coming-of-age film of a 10-year-old boy narrated across a single night. Don't know what 'Avengers 4' is about, says Karen Gillan

Karen Gillan says she is clueless about the plot of "Avengers 4". The actor, who plays Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, says directing duo Russo brothers have taken extreme measures against leaks and plot spoilers. "We didn't even get a script, there was no script. Just my scenes. I'd sometimes get them just in the morning, do them, hand them back over at the end of the day. "The directors would fill us in on everything that we needed in terms of context, but still, I don't know what this movie's about," Gillan told Shoot This Now podcast. She even claimed she does not know the title of the film, which is set to release on May 3, 2019. The actor has finished shooting for the movie. Gillan has appeared as Nebula in "Avengers: Infinity War" and the two "Guardians of the Galaxy" films.

Music composer Anirudh backs #Metoo campaign

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has come out in support of the #Metoo campaign that has seen women from various sectors call out those who sexually harassed them. The 28-year-old composer, who shot to fame with his debut song 'Why this Kolaveri Di', said many women have filed cases. "It is a welcome move that women are opening up on this. Many of them have filed cases, if the charges are proven then we would come to know about the reality," he said. Popular singer Chinmayi Sripaada recently levelled allegations of sexual harassment against lyricist Vairamuthu. Vairamuthu, however, has refuted the allegations. Las week, the Madras Music Academy dropped seven Carnatic musicians from its list of performers for the Margazhi music festival, an event held every December, following allegations of sexual harassment against them. But what happens when you get to see multiple acts, not just two or four, or even 10 or 20, but 30 plays in just 60 minutes? "Don't Panic It's Organic" gives you that heady experience with its whirlwind tour of human emotions through a bouquet of plays that sometimes tell a full story and other times use live interactions with the audience to weave a tale, Music and the play of lights have a big role in some of the 30 acts that push conventional boundaries of standard theatre. All through, the cast plays themselves on stage, not enacting any particular character. So what's the concept and how do they go about it? The "menu" of piping hot 30 plays, which are numbered on the clothesline at the back of the stage, are served to the audience. Shashank Khaitan's next with Varun Dhwan an action film

Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan has confirmed that he is currently scripting his next with Varun Dhawan in the lead, which is going to be an action-entertainer with terrorism as the backdrop. Earlier, the director was supposed to helm "Ranbhoomi" with Varun after it did not take off, he started working on the action film. "It (the story) has been with me since 2014. It has been one of the subjects I knew which would require experience on my part and faith on the part of my actors and producers so that they know I've graduated to that level to make a film of that stature," Khaitan told PTI.
