A total of 299 women dressed up in traditional Ladakhi wedding attire danced together to mark the last day of the Naropa festival and also created a Guinness World Record in the process.

Disputing claims over funds raised for man who died cleaning sewer
Disputing claims over Rs 57 lakh raised by an NGO to help the family of a 27-year-old man who died while manually cleaning a sewer line at a residential apartment in Dwarka area of Delhi have triggered confusion. The NGO had decided to raise the money after a photograph of a boy grieving next to Anil's body had gone viral on social media. Anil died on September 14 after he slipped when descending into the 20-feet deep sewer as the rope tied around his waist snapped and he went into a free fall. 'Croydon cat killer' mystery solved by Scotland Yard; humans not involved
Ending three years of painstaking investigations, Scotland Yard Thursday announced that humans were not involved in a series of killings of cats in south London and the most likely culprits were foxes or other scavenging animals. The force launched an investigation in 2015 into reports of mutilated cats, often with heads and tails removed, in Croydon and the surrounding area. Twenty-five post-mortem examinations were carried out but found no evidence of "human involvement", Scotland Yard said. Foxes are believed to be behind some of the mutilations. Police said injuries inflicted on cats were "likely to be the result of predation or scavenging by wildlife on cats killed in vehicle collisions". During the probe, detectives received more than 400 similar reports of cats being mutilated across London and surrounding counties, the BBC reported. A 49-year old man who carried out a savage attack on his daughter and her husband for marrying without his consent has been arrested even as the young woman whose forearm was nearly severed while trying to save her spouse was in a critical condition at a hospital, police said.
