Hollywood star Chris Evans says he wants to get married and have kids. The 37-year-old Captain America star, who is enjoying the fan frenzy around his latest Marvel release "Avengers: Endgame", says he likes the idea of having a family. ''I really want kids. Yeah, I do. I like pretty pedestrian, domestic things. I want a wife, I want kids. I like ceremony. "I want to carve pumpkins and decorate Christmas trees and s**t like that," Evans told Men's Journal magazine. TNCC announces Rs 5 lakh incentive to Gomathi Marimuthu
The Tamil Nadu Congress unit Saturday lauded state-based athlete Gomathi Marimuthu for clinching gold in the Asian Athletics Championship held in Qatar and announced a cash incentive of Rs five lakh for her. The 30-year-old unheralded Gomathi had clocked a personal best time of 2 minute 02.70 seconds in the women's 800m race held in Doha, Qatar on Monday. TNCC President KS Alagiri said Gomathi had achieved the feat despite hailing from a poor background, with her late father being a labourer, through sheer hardwork. "She has brought pride to the country and I appreciate her on behalf of Tamil Nadu Congress. Mats Malm is a professor of literary theory at the University of Gothenburg. "I am very happy to be given this trust and look forward to the honourable commission as permanent secretary," he said. A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly posing as a journalist of a reputed entertainment supplement and duping people after gate crashing page-three events at 5-star hotels, police said Friday. The accused Ashish John, a resident of Moti Nagar, duped people by claiming to get their work done through his high-profile contacts. John was arrested on Thursday night when he was attending a page-three event at a luxurious hotel in Lutyens' Delhi. Following a tip off, the police alerted the security personnel of the hotel and organisers of the event which lead to his arrest, a senior police officer said. A day before he was arrested, John attended another promotional event at another hotel. "Interrogation revealed that John often visited such events and clicked pictures with celebrities and VVIPs," said Madhur Verma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi). He duped people he met at these events by telling them that he was in touch with influential people and can help get their work .
