The company has extended the deadline for completion of merger with Indus Towers by over two months till August 31.
The deal, which was signed in April 2018, is expected to come to fruition and once it is completed it will create one of world's biggest telecom tower companies.

The delay in deal will also result in lower payment to Vodafone Idea for its around 11.15 per cent stake
Dayal will be responsible for the combined business and take forward integration of the two companies in preparation of the merger
