A case of triple murder came to light from Hyderabad's Jillelaguda area on Monday morning.Harinder killed his wife Jyothi and two children. His son Abhijeet was 6-year-old and daughter Sahasra was 4-year-old.The police are suspecting that the wife was hit to a wall while the children were strangulated to death."The police reached the spot and are investigating the matter. The last surviving suspect in the 2015 Paris attacks, Salah Abdeslam, arrived at a court in Brussels amid tight security today to stand trial over a shootout that led to his capture, a source close to the case said. The Supreme Court on Monday sought reply from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over former Indian pacer S. A man has been booked under the stringent National Security Act (NSA) in connection with the attack on a police team allegedly by a mob in Khalapar area here, an official said. Inayat surrendered before a court a few days ago. He was sent to judicial custody. Yesterday, he was booked under the NSA for the violence at Khalapar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anant Dev said. Six people have been arrested for allegedly harassing a 22-year-old Dalit woman here and attacking her family, police said today. In the incident, which took place on Saturday at Buwada village, the woman and four of her family members were injured, they said. Pawan, Dinesh, Arvind, Annu, Rajesh and Rakesh were arrested yesterday, following a complaint lodge by the woman at the Khatoli police station , police said. Abdeslam, 28, left a jail near the French capital early Monday, together with a convoy of tactical police vehicles. Hundreds of Belgian security forces will protect the court building. Abdeslam, a Belgian-born French national of Moroccan descent, is charged with "attempting to murder several police officers in a terrorist context" and of "carrying prohibited weapons in a terrorist context". A 30-year-old woman and her five-year-old daughter were today found dead in a field here, police said. The bodies were found in an area under the Civil Lines Police Station, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ombir Singh said. They were killed last evening and it is suspected that the woman was raped near the Vehelna Chowk. The bodies have been sent for post mortem, he said. The victims are yet to be identified, the SP said.
U.S Dollars valued at around Rs eight lakh were seized today by customs officials from two Colombo-bound air passengers, who allegedly hid the currency in their belts. Customs officials said that their personnel, acting on a tip off, checked the passengers at the airport here and found them carrying the currency in their belts. A policeman in Hyderabad has saved the life of a seven-year-old boy, who was hit by a speeding car, on Sunday by taking the severely-injured minor to hospital in his patrol vehicle.The accident reportedly took place when the boy was crossing the road with his parents near Budwel Railway Station on Friday.Airport police station circle inspector Mahesh, who was passing by, saw the injured boy and his parents waiting for an ambulance.He then immediately acted and took the boy into his hands and shifted the boy to a local hospital in his patrol vehicle.
