Technical disruptions during the NEET-PG 2026 examination at two centres in Jaipur on Sunday led to chaos and protests by candidates who alleged that computers repeatedly shut down during the test. The disruption occurred at two iON Digital Zone centres in Sitapura, where candidates alleged that the examination, scheduled to begin at 9 am, first started late and then the computer systems repeatedly went down after the test began. The High-Powered Enquiry Committee, constituted by the Supreme Court to examine allegations of police violence during the NEET protests, has been asked to take up on priority the complaints of sexual assault faced by women protesters, the apex court said on Monday. The clarification was made by a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana, when senior advocate Shobha Gupta urged it to take suo motu cognisance of the allegations of sexual assault and molestation of women during the July 20 protest at Jantar Mantar.
