Reliance Power Q4 result: Profit of Rs 126 cr, shares zoom over 11%

Shares of Reliance Power on Monday jumped over 11 per cent after the firm posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 126 crore in the March quarter of FY25. The stock surged 10.66 per cent to close at Rs 42.77 apiece on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 13.60 per cent to Rs 43.91. On the NSE, it rallied 11.25 per cent to Rs 43. The company's market valuation climbed Rs 1,654.99 crore to Rs 17,180.58 crore. In volume terms, 236.89 lakh shares of the firm were traded on the BSE and 1,648.08 lakh shares exchanged hands on the NSE during the day. Reliance Power on Friday posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 126 crore in the January-March quarter of FY25 due to lower expenses. The company had reported a loss of Rs 397.56 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2024, a regulatory filing showed. Shriram General Insurance Q4 results: Profit rises 8% to ₹130 cr on growth

Shriram General Insurance on Monday reported an 8 per cent rise in profit to Rs 130 crore during the March quarter. The company reported a post-tax profit of Rs 121 crore in the year-ago period. The gross direct premium income of the company improved to Rs 1,099 crore against Rs 876 crore in the same quarter a year ago, registering a growth of 25 per cent. For the financial year ended March 2025, the general insurance arm of Shriram group posted a 13 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 515 crore from Rs 455 crore in the previous year. The solvency ratio was 3.51 times at March-end against minimum regulatory requirement of 1.5 times. Looking ahead, Shriram General Insurance Company MD and CEO Anil Aggarwal said, "We are focused on diversifying our portfolio, expanding our digital capabilities, and enhancing our presence in underserved markets. UPL reports Q4 results: Net profit of ₹1,079 cr on higher revenue

UPL Ltd on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,079 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, supported by higher revenue. The company had posted a loss of Rs 80 crore a year earlier. Its total income rose 10.6 per cent to Rs 15,573 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 14,078 crore in the year-ago period, the agrochemicals major said in a regulatory filing. For the full financial year 2024-25, UPL posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 820 crore compared to a net loss of Rs 1,878 crore in the preceding fiscal. The company's annual total income increased to Rs 46,637 crore from Rs 43,098 crore. "The significant improvement in profitability and operational efficiency, alongside consistent revenue growth, strong operating free cash flows and strategic fund-raising initiatives resulted in our net debt reduction by around USD 1 billion," UPL Chairman and Group CEO Jai Shroff said. Bajaj Electricals Q4 profit jumps two-fold to Rs 59 cr, revenue rises 6.5%

Bajaj Electricals Ltd on Monday reported a two-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 5,905 crore for the March quarter of FY25. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 29.31 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, according to a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations rose 6.5 per cent to Rs 1,265.47 crore in the March quarter compared to Rs 1,188.08 crore in the year-ago period. Bajaj Electricals' total expenses in the March quarter rose to Rs 1,231.77 crore. Triveni Turbine Q4 profit surges 60% to Rs 94 cr on higher income

Triveni Turbine on Saturday reported a 60.44 per cent rise in standalone profit to Rs 93.7 crore in the March quarter, on account of higher income. It had posted Rs 58.4 crore profit after tax in the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing. The company's total income rose to Rs 508.1 crore from Rs 400.2 crore a year ago. Affle 3i Q4 results: Profit rise 18% rise to Rs 103 cr on higher revenue

Technology firm Affle 3i has reported a 17.8 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 103 crore in the March quarter. It had reported a profit (attributable to equity holders of the parent) of Rs 87.4 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue from operation during the quarter came in 18.9 per cent higher at Rs 602.2 crore, against Rs 506.2 crore a year ago. Shakti Pumps Q4 results: Profit rises 23% to ₹110 cr on higher income

Solar pumps maker Shakti Pumps (India) on Saturday posted around 23 per cent growth in profit to Rs 110.23 crore in the March quarter, driven by higher income.
