Nuvama Wealth Management on Thursday reported a 41 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 255 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025. The wealth management firm earned a profit after tax of Rs 181 crore in the March quarter of 2023-24. Its total income rose to Rs 1,125 crore during the March quarter from Rs 929 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. For the full 2024-25 fiscal, Nuvama Wealth reported a 58 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 985 crore. In FY24, it had a profit of Rs 625 crore. Nuvama Group MD & CEO Ashish Kehair said in the Wealth Management business, the company saw strong momentum in net flows. "We continued to invest substantially for growth, we added sales capacity and expanded our geographical reach, including offshore. We further strengthened our digital infrastructure, including integration of AI tools to serve our clients better," Kehair said. Welspun Corp Ltd (WCL) has posted over 143 per cent growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 699.19 crore in the March quarter, aided by a reduction in expenses. It had posted a net profit of Rs 287.28 crore in the January-March period of the preceding financial year, the company said in an exchange filing. However, WCL saw its income declining to Rs 3,966.86 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, from Rs 4,543.70 crore in the same period a year ago. During the quarter under review, the company brought down its expenses to Rs 3,639.32 crore from Rs 4,292.37 crore in Q4 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the net profit was around over 4 per cent higher compared to Rs 672.19 crore net profit earned in October-December FY25. In FY25, the net profit was down at Rs 1,902.28 crore, as against Rs 1,136.00 crore in FY24. Insecticides India Ltd on Wednesday posted an 84.70 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 13.89 crore for fourth quarter of 2024-25 fiscal on strong sales. The company reported a net profit of Rs 7.52 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing. Total income rose by 31.71 per cent to Rs 358.92 crore in the January-March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 272.50 crore in the year-ago period. For the full 2024-25 fiscal, net profit rose 39.13 per cent to Rs 142.01 crore, as against Rs 102.07 crore in the previous year. The company's Managing Director Rajesh Kumar Aggarwal, said, "Looking ahead, we remain optimistic about the upcoming seasons." The company's growth outlook remains intact, with expectations of expansion in premium products, stable gross profit margins, and EBITDA improvement, driven by new launches and operational efficiencies, he added.
Realty firm Suraj Estate Developers has reported 5 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 18.28 crore for March quarter 2025. Its net profit stood at Rs 19.29 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 137.16 crore in the quarter from Rs 103.03 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing on Tuesday. During 2024-25, the company's net profit rose to Rs 100.15 crore from Rs 67.49 crore in the preceding year. Total income grew to Rs 553.17 crore from Rs 415.70 crore. Since incorporation, Suraj Estate Developers has completed 42 projects with a developed area of more than 10.47 lakh square feet in the South-Central Mumbai region. In addition to the completed projects, the company has 13 ongoing projects with a developable area of 20.34 lakh square feet and saleable RERA carpet area of 6.1 lakh square feet and 19 upcoming projects with an estimated carpet area of 10.2 lakh square feet.
