The initiative, spearhead by a group of locals in Niamey, aims to recruit tens of thousands of volunteers from across the country to register for the Volunteers for the Defence of Niger. The group would fight, assist with medical care, and provide technical and engineering logistics among other functions, in case the junta needs help, Amsarou Bako, one of the founders, told The Associated Press on Tuesday. There was a 1 per cent dip in month-on-month hiring, while e-recruitment activities declined by 5 per cent in July compared to the year-ago period. "The H1-B visa has a unique feature built into it that says if you don't find alternative arrangements for work within 60 days you are not permitted to remain in the United States." Each year, up to 85,000 people are selected for H-1B visas in the US, a mainstay for technology giants such
