Kevin Pietersen dropped a strong hint that he has retired after the polarising former England star decided not to join Quetta Gladiators in Lahore for their Pakistan Super League play-off. Aditi makes cut, lies T-39 at Founders Cup

Aditi Ashok carded even par 72 to slip from overnight T-17 to T-39 after the second round of the LPGA Founders Cup here. At two-under 142 with rounds of 70-72, she is now seven shots behind the leader, Cydney Clanton (68-67). Aditi opened with a bogey but quickly made up with three birdies in next six holes. She was two-under through 11, before a bogey on 12th and then a closing one on 18th saw her fall back to even par. Meanwhile, Cydney Clanton holed out for eagle on the 13th hole and then made birdie on 18th to close in sole possession of the 36-hole lead at nine-under 135. It's the first time she has ever held the 36-hole lead at an LPGA event. Lahiri squeezes inside cut line as Woods slips to 17th, Stenson leads

Anirban Lahiri fired back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth holes on his second nine to squeeze inside the cut line and stay on for weekend action at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard here. Lahiri had four each of birdies and bogeys in his even round and is Tied-66th at one-over 145 which was also the cutline. The weather has been chilly and players have often been finding it difficult to adjust. Henrik Stenson hung in through the tough period and his three birdies around the turn saw him card three-under 69 and at 11-under. He shared the lead with Bryson DeChambeau, who had a 66. Stenson had chances to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational two of the last three years and could well make it this time. Stenson and DeChambeau were at 11-under 133. They had a two-shot advantage over PGA TOUR rookie Talor Gooch (70). Tiger Woods did not make a birdie until the 12th hole and shot 72 and at four-under 140 to lie seven shots back.
