Suzlon bags two wind energy orders from Mahindra Susten, nordic energy firm

Renewables solutions provider Suzlon has bagged two separate wind energy orders of 100.8 MW each from Mahindra Susten and an Indian arm of a leading nordic energy company. Suzlon will install 48 units of their S120 140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each in Maharashtra for Mahindra Susten Pvt Ltd, the clean-teach arm of the Mahindra Group, a company statement said. "We are delighted to partner with Mahindra Susten, for their first wind energy project. Suzlon's S1443 MW series of wind turbines get RLMM listing by MNRE

Renewable energy solution provider Suzlon Group on Wednesday announced the listing of its S144 3 MW series of wind turbines in the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy's 'Revised List of Models & Manufacturers' (RLMM). "This is an important milestone required for successful commercialisation of the product," the company said in a statement. The company announced the RLMM listing of its S144 3 MW series of wind turbines, which are extendable to 3.15 MW, it added. Suzlon has already installed the first prototype of this series at a hub height of 160m with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower at the Gondal site in Gujarat. Currently, the product is in the process of serial manufacturing and commercialisation, it added. CRISIL upgrades Suzlon Energy ratings to BBB+ with positive outlook

Renewable solutions provider Suzlon Energy on Wednesday said Crisil upgraded its ratings by two notches to BBB+/A2 with a positive outlook. "Suzlon Group today announced that Crisil has upgraded the ratings of Suzlon Energy Ltd to CRISIL BBB+/A2 from CRISIL BBB-/A3' with a Positive Outlook for long-term and short-term facilities, reflecting the company's strengthened financial position, operational excellence and favourable sectoral tailwinds," a company statement said. According to the statement, the rating upgrade is a result of Suzlon's successful reduction of debt by repaying the entire term debt through the proceeds of a qualified institutional placement (QIP) of approximately Rs 2,000 crore. The reduction in fund-based borrowings, steady cash flows from the operations and maintenance (O&M) services business, and improved business profile in the wind turbine segment have contributed to this upgrade. Renewable energy solution provider Suzlon Group on Thursday announced that it has bagged an order from Integrum Energy Infrastructure for the development of a 31.5-MW wind energy project. Suzlon Group bags 47.6 MW wind energy project in Gujarat from KP Group

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group has bagged an order for a 47.6 MW wind power project from KP Group in Gujarat. However, the company did not disclose the value of the order. The project is located at Vagra in Bharuch district in Gujarat and is expected to be commissioned in 2024, a company statement said. A project of this size can provide electricity to 36,000 households and curb 1.42 lakh tonne of CO2 emissions per year. Suzlon Energy consolidated net loss widens to Rs 205 cr in March quarter

Suzlon Energy on Wednesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 205.52 crore in the March quarter. The consolidated net loss of the company stood at Rs 54.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2021, according to a regulatory filing. Total income in the quarter under review rose to Rs 2,478.73 crore from Rs 1,141.15 crore in the same period a year ago. The company also reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 176.55 crore for 2021-22. The same stood at Rs 103.59 crore in the year-ago period. Total income in FY22 rose to Rs 6,603.97 crore as against Rs 3,365.59 crore in 2020-21. The company said it has successfully concluded refinancing of its debt of the State Bank of India-led existing consortium of 16 lenders with REC Limited-led consortium of two lenders.
