The Bombay High Court has said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) should ensure that benefits of modern technology are made available to the public, especially senior citizens, to make commuting in the city "easier and more comfortable". Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday directed officials to incorporate "state-of-the-art technology" to implement policy, particularly in revenue generating departments, and thereby reduce human involvement in the process.
