Chinese woman marries man in West Bengal with Indian rituals

Purba Medinipur (WB), Feb 06 (ANI): Love knows no boundaries and flourishes regardless of nationality and religion. In a recent instance, an Indian man named Pintu tied the knot with a woman of Chinese nationality in West Bengal. The marriage ceremony was held according to Indian rituals on February 05. The couple fell in love when they met during a business deal in China. Several people took part in the wedding however, bride's family was not able to take part in the wedding due to coronavirus situation in the country.

Pace of defence cooperation between US and India is accelerating: US Envoy

While addressing the media, he said that the pace of defence cooperation between US and India is accelerating. 'I had the pleasure of travelling back in Washington DC last December to attend the second US-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue, two things with that Ministerial Dialogue stood out that the pace of defence cooperation between US and India is accelerating and second that our respective industry partners are playing a key role in the growth in our defence relationship," said Juster. "I am please that the US government and the American industries are working together to explore way to deepen industry cooperation in US-India defence trade," added Juster.

Nirbhaya case: All convicts will be hanged together, says Delhi HC

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Nirbhaya's Mother Asha Devi, welcomed the Delhi High Court's decision to dismiss the Centre's plea challenging trial court order which had stayed the execution of all 4 convicts. Court said death warrant against all 4 convicts can't be executed separately. "I welcome Delhi High Court's verdict. It gives all 4 convicts 1 week to resort to all legal remedies available to them. After this, the convicts should be hanged soon," said Asha Devi. Delhi High Court observed that Delhi prison rules do not state that if mercy petition of one convict is pending, the execution of the other convicts can take place.

Singh informed that two terrorists were killed and one terrorist was injured on Srinagar-Baramulla road, after they fired at police and CRPF party deployed there. Delhi HC rejects centre's plea demanding separate execution of Nirbhaya's convicts

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Delhi High Court has rejected centre's plea which demanded separate execution of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape convicts on February 05. Convicts' lawyer, AP Singh said, "Delhi High Court rejected centre's demand of separate execution of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape convicts. Delhi High Court gave all four convicts one week to resort to all legal remedies available to them. One cannot bury justice in hurry. If they planned to kill four people and want to do 'government killing', then they have to keep patience."

5 IIITs, running through PPP, declared Institutes of National Importance: Govt

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in national capital, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar on February 05 said the Union Cabinet today approved Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2020. Adding on it, he further said that five IIITs, running through PPP mode, in Surat, Bhopal, Bhagalpur, Agartala and Raichur have been declared as Institutes of National Importance.
