New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Nirbhaya's Mother Asha Devi, welcomed the Delhi High Court's decision to dismiss the Centre's plea challenging trial court order which had stayed the execution of all 4 convicts. Court said death warrant against all 4 convicts can't be executed separately. "I welcome Delhi High Court's verdict. It gives all 4 convicts 1 week to resort to all legal remedies available to them. After this, the convicts should be hanged soon," said Asha Devi. Delhi High Court observed that Delhi prison rules do not state that if mercy petition of one convict is pending, the execution of the other convicts can take place.

Convicts' lawyer, AP Singh said, "Delhi High Court rejected centre's demand of separate execution of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape convicts. Delhi High Court gave all four convicts one week to resort to all legal remedies available to them. One cannot bury justice in hurry. If they planned to kill four people and want to do 'government killing', then they have to keep patience."
