Surat (Gujarat), July 17 (ANI): A Chartered Accountant (CA) in Gujarat's Surat provides free coaching to 40-45 economically weak students every year. CA Ravi Chhawchharia teaches several students under his 'CA Stars Program'. This initiative helps students prepare for all the three levels of CA exam. While speaking to ANI on the initiative, CA Ravi Chhawchharia said, "These children come from very humble background. We arrange food and lodging for those coming from outside Surat. We select students through a test, assess their financial status by visiting their houses and enrol them. 90% of them have cleared CA exam in last three years."

New Delhi, Jul 17 (ANI): Facebook users in the UK will now be able to report ads they find scammy. The reporting tool can be accessed by clicking three dots in the top right corner of each ad on Facebook, then selecting 'Report ad', then choosing 'Misleading or scam ad' and 'Send a detailed scam report', TechCrunch reports. Once a user reports an ad as scam, Facebook's internal ops team will be tasked with reviewing the ad and removing it if found in violation. It is not clear if the tool will be rolled out to other markets.
New Delhi, Jul 17 (ANI): Women with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) who are receiving hormone therapy have poorer sleep quality and greater fatigue than women of the same age with preserved ovarian function, suggests a new study. The study was published in the 'Menopause: The Journal of the North American Menopause Society'. "This study shows that women with POI have poor sleep quality despite the use of hormone therapy.

Srinagar (J-K), Jul 17 (ANI): Indian Army installed solar street lights from Rangreth to Rawalpora Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar. The lights were installed to illuminate dark streets for the convenience of civilians. The project will ensure that streets are flood lit for night movement of civilians. Moradabad (UP), July 16 (ANI): Two children died and five other members of a family sustained injuries after the roof of their house collapsed following heavy rainfall in the Nagphani area here in wee hours of Tuesday. "Two children have died while five persons have been admitted to a hospital. The incident occurred due to incessant rainfall in the area. The house was not maintained properly. It was a 'kutcha' house. We are investigating the matter," Balram, Moradabad DSP told ANI. Nine people were inside the house when the incident occurred, police said. Locals said, "We heard a very loud noise at around 5 am, following which, we rushed to the spot. We found two girls aged two and ten years dead at the spot. Five other persons of the family were rushed to the district hospital."
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Jul 16 (ANI): A three-year-old boy who was kidnapped on Monday in Bhopal's Gehun Kheda was found dead today in Kolar area of the city. Police said the body was found in closed premises but it was yet to be ascertained whether the minor was killed there or his body was brought at the site. "The body was found in closed premises here. Mumbai, July 16 (ANI): Police arrested father of Meenakshi Chaurasia, who murdered his pregnant daughter in Ghatkopar on Sunday night. Akhilesh Singh, DCP, said: "We got the information on Sunday morning after which Rajkumar Chaurasia, father of victim Meenakshi Chaurasia, was arrested within 24 hours." "Brijesh Chaurasia, victim's husband, as well as other family members were also questioned. On further investigation we found out that the father had carried out the killing," he said. Singh said there was a rift between the father and his pregnant daughter due to which he murdered her. "Meenakshi had married without the permission of her father. Investigations have revealed this to be the reason behind her killing," he said. According to the police, Rajkumar had called Meenakshi on the pretext of patching things up with her. Birgunj (Nepal), July 16 (ANI): The flood situation continues to be serious after incessant rainfall since the past few days have caused heavy damages in Birgunj town of Nepal. Thousands were displaced from their homes as floodwater rose in the rivers, inundating whole villages, primarily in the Terai. Meanwhile, the death toll from the Nepal floods caused by the monsoon rains reached almost 70. Highways too were blocked either by the waters or by landslides. Heavy rainfall forced people to vacate their homes and move to safer areas. People have taken shelter in relief camps and relief distribution centres.

Ajmer (Rajasthan), July 16 (ANI): A French national was allegedly attacked in a hotel where he was residing today. The mishap took place in Rajasthan's Ajmer. The injured man has been admitted to Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital for the treatment. Further investigation is underway. Ajmer SP K Rashtradeep said, "Yet to be ascertained if he was attacked. Mumbai, July 16 (ANI): The death toll has risen to three after 4-storey building collapsed in Mumbai's Dongri, today as confirmed by Mumbai Police. At least eight people have been injured in the incident, so far. More than 40 people are feared trapped under the debris. A woman was also rescued by NDRF personnel from the debris of the building. Fire officials and a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are on the rescue site. More details are awaited.
