New Delhi, July 13 (ANI): To help keep toxic or irrelevant tweets at bay, Twitter is testing a new feature that will allow users to hide replies to their tweets. In the official release, Twitter said that starting next week, users in Canada will see the option to hide replies to their tweets. To hide a reply to your tweet, simply tap on the down arrow on the reply and select 'Hide Reply'. If someone wants to see or engage with the hidden reply, they can tap on a grey icon that will appear above the replies section.
Jaipur (Rajasthan), July 13 (ANI): A minor has been detained in the case in which female professors of the Rajasthan University (RU) received lewd phone calls via Voice over Internet Protocol. While addressing a press conference in Rajasthan's Jaipur on Friday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Jaipur City (East) Rahul Jain said, "Accused was detained in Hisar, He used WiFi of the university where his father works to do this." Jaipur Police on Friday detained a teenager from Hisar in Haryana for allegedly making lewd internet generated calls to around 40 women professors of Rajasthan University. Police said it was acting on a July 3 complaint made by a woman professor who lodged a complaint in Mahesh Nagar police station in Jaipur about receiving lewd calls from unidentified numbers. She, however, said that caller was always the same person, police said in a statement. Gurugram (Haryana), Jul 12 (ANI): Locals in Haryana's Gurugram allegedly attacked the officials of fire department for arriving late with their vehicles on the site in DLF phase-3 where a transformer had caught fire. The transformer fire spread to the nearby parked vehicles whose owners allegedly attacked the officials and threw stones at fire truck. Isham Singh Kashyap, who is the District Fire Officer in Gurugram, denied any delay from their side and said the locals must've reached them via police control room.

New Delhi, Jul 12 (ANI): The Crime Branch of Delhi Police in a major success busted a drugs racket, and seized 800 kilograms 'Ganja' of fine quality. Police also arrested two people in connection with the case. Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), Jul 12 (ANI): The iconic 'Lakshman Jhula' bridge in Uttarakhand's Rishikesh has been ordered to be closed temporarily for public movement due to its dilapidated condition. Built in 1932, the bridge is unable to handle to the modern footfalls, and the bridge seems to be tilted to one side. Considering the possibilities of future casualties, the local administration has ordered for the temporary shutdown of the bridge.
Meerut (UP), July 12 (ANI): 10 Nigerian nationals detained by Gautam Buddh Nagar police in Uttar Pradesh's Noida, escaped from jail on Thursday. Additional Director General of Police of Meerut zone, said "Some inmates escaped due to negligence of guard and some of them were later caught. Action being taken against staff whoever is responsible for it." Police on Wednesday detained as many as 60 foreign nationals who were reportedly living in India without valid travel documents. Named "Operation Clean 10", the drive carried out by Gautam Buddh Nagar Police was conducted to weed out foreign nationals living in the national capital region. According to officials who detained were either not in possession of valid travel documents or involved in criminal activities.
