Pune (Maharashtra), June 20 (ANI): The cast and crew of ALTBalaji's upcoming web series 'Fixer' has claimed that they were attacked by goons on Wednesday. Actors Mahie Gill and Shabir Ahluwalia are a part of the show, however only the former was shooting when the alleged incident took place. According to the producer of the show, Sakett Saawhney, the team had valid shooting permission, but some drunk goons disrupted them and attacked the crew. "We were shooting in a factory with valid permissions since 7 am and suddenly around 4 pm, some drunk goons came in with sticks and rods and attacked our artists, technicians, and crew members. They said that this is their location and we cannot shoot without their permission," Saawhney said. "There was no scope for discussion, they manhandled women. Lahaul-Spiti (HP), June 20 (ANI): Traffic resumed till Sarchu in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti district after clearing of snow on Wednesday. The snow clearing operation was carried out by Border Roads Organisation (BRO). Manali- Sarchu road connects the high altitude Himalayan town with Leh in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. The stretch is prone to snowfall and remains inaccessible for vehicular traffic during winters.
Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Jun 20 (ANI): Fishes were found dead on the periphery of the dried up Selva Chinthamani lake caused by the severe heat wave in Tamil Nadu's Chinthamani Lake on Wednesday. The constant spell of scorching heat in Tamil Nadu has caused acute water shortage and deficient rain has not made the current scenario in the state any better. The extreme weather conditions in the southern state of India has resulted in protests breaking outside the Coimbatore City Corporation Office by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) too, sending a message to the state about its worsening water condition. Hyderabad, Jun 20 (ANI): Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's (GHMC) Disaster Response Force safely pulled out the cow from a septic tank. The cow had accidently fallen in the septic tank 10 days ago in Allwyn Colony, Chandanagar circle. The Disaster Rescue Team fed wet grass and water to the cow and later shifted the cow to veterinary hospital for treatment.
Raipur (Chhatisgarh), Jun 20 (ANI): Chhatisgarh Deputy Inspector General (Anti-Naxal operations) Sundarraj Patilingam informed that 2 Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) jawans were shot dead by their colleague at CAF camp in Mingachal, Bijapur. He said, "Accused jawan Sanjay Nishad is being interrogated by police. Bodies have been sent for postmortem. Probe is underway." Talking about the death of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Santosh Punem he further added, "His body was recovered in Bijapur today. Information collected suggests he was killed by Maoists. Punem had contributions in road construction work. Not yet ascertained why he was killed by Naxals."

These exercises, which are being performed by the army personnel, seems to be the norm over a few BSF camps in the nation. Three days ago the Odisha BSF troopers performed yoga and just yesterday Assam BSF too joined the list. These exercises come in the run-up to the fifth ever international yoga day on June 21. India and other countries will celebrate international yoga day in a span of two days. The concept of yoga day was formally proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India during his first-year tenure. This is when he also addressed the United Nations General Assembly, Where he expressed his interest to make June 21 as the international yoga day. Modi founded the ministry of AYUSH which deals with natural methods of treatment including Yoga, Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha.

In an official tweet, Twitter Support explained that since most people don't tag their precise location in tweets, the ability is being removed. New Delhi, Jun 20 (ANI): While there are several pieces of research that suggested a link between low levels of vitamin D in the blood and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, researchers have now discovered that consuming vitamin D supplements won't decrease the risk. The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association Cardiology, found that vitamin D supplements did not decrease the incidence of heart attacks, strokes or other major adverse cardiovascular events. His finding was consistent for both men and women and for patients of different ages. Barbarawi led a team of researchers and reviewed data from 21 clinical trials, including more than 83,000 patients. Half the patients were administered vitamin D supplements, and half were given placebos. The meta-analysis of data showed no difference in the incidences of cardiovascular events or all causes of death between the two groups.
