Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Mar 11 (ANI): Amid political crisis of Madhya Pradesh and Jyotiraditya Scindia's resignation from Congress, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel said that 'there must have been some compulsions, otherwise no one being disloyal'. "There must have been some compulsions, otherwise no one being disloyal. People from Congress have always seen that they go roaring and come tilting and there are many such examples. After test floor, Kamal Nath government will remain," said Chhattisgarh CM. On his visit to Delhi, he said, "We need to decide candidates for the two Rajya Sabha seats from the state as March 13 is the last date. These candidates will be from Congress party. I am going to Delhi to discuss it with the high command of the party."

MP political crisis: Congress MLAs off to Jaipur

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Mar 11 (ANI): Congress MLAs headed towards Bhopal airport to fly to Jaipur amid political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh. MLAs are purportedly being sent outside state over political crisis. On March 10 Jyotiraditya Scindia quit Congress after which several MLAs also decided to resign, giving air to persisting political tension. However, Congress MLAs are confident of attaining majority in assembly after the recent move.

Tibetan spiritual leader Karmapa's Monastery closed for visitors over COVID-19 fear

DHARAMSHALA, Mar 11 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader, Karmapa's Buddhist Tantric Monastery, Gyuto will remain closed for visitors due the fear of coronavirus. Tourists are visiting the monastery but are returning after seeing the notice at the entrance gate. The monastery has been closed from March 5 onwards for about a month, and the re-opening will be informed depending on the situation of COVID-19. Located in Mcleodganj, the Gyuto monastery is quiet famous for its breathtaking location and majestic interiors. The rarest Tibetan Butter Sculptures made of Yak butter are also found here, which enclose the whole heritage of Lhasa.

Anybody with coronavirus symptoms kept in isolated ward: Maha Health Minister after 5 cases in Pune

Mumbai, Mar 11 (ANI): Amid growing number of cases of coronavirus in India, 5 positive cases have been reported in Pune too. While speaking to ANI, Maharashtra Health Minister, Rajesh Tope said, "Five positive cases have been reported in Pune and treatment is underway. The process of tracing the primary and the secondary contact is very laborious and critical. This process requires coordinated efforts from different departments. Anybody with the symptoms of the disease is kept in an isolated ward for further treatment or they are quarantined at their homes. Masks and other facilities are available in sufficient amount. However, if the demand exceeds the supply we will deliberate upon it."

'Delhi violence was pre-planned conspiracy', says GIA's fact finding team

New Delhi, Mar 11 (ANI): Group of Intellectuals and Academicians (GIA) submitted the fact finding report on recent Delhi violence to Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy. Member of GIA and lawyer Monika Arora claimed that Delhi violence was 'pre-planned' conspiracy over the visit of President of United States of America Donald Trump. GIA also demanded National Investigation Agency (NIA) inquiry into the matter. Over 50 people lost their lives in riots in Northeast Delhi.

Equity indices flat in volatile trading, Yes Bank jumps 20 pc

Mumbai, Mar 11 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices wobbled during early hours on Wednesday as their Asian peers dropped amid spreading coronavirus (Covid-19) globally. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex was down by 69 points to 35,566 while the Nifty 50 dipped by 32 points at 10,419. All sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty IT down by 1.4 per cent, metal by 0.9 per cent and FMCG by 0.8 per cent. Among stocks, Yes Bank was up by 20 per cent at Rs 25.50 per share as State Bank of India readied a reconstruction plan for the troubled private sector lender, which has been grappling with mounting bad loans and struggling to raise fresh capital. Index heavyweight Reliance Industries was up by 4.05 per cent at Rs 1,159.25 per share. Among the other major gainers were Bharti Infratel, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and ICICI Bank. JD(U) leader shot dead in Patna

Patna (Bihar), Mar 11 (ANI): JD(U) leader Kanhaiya Kaushik was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Patel Nagar area of Patna on March 10. One of the police officials said, "Postmortem report is awaited and investigation is underway. The accused will be arrested soon." JandK Govt starts beautification drive for houseboats along Jhelum River

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Mar 11 (ANI): District Administration of Srinagar started the beautification drive for houseboats along Jhelum River in the Valley to improve the aesthetic beauty of the river. The project has been started under the 'Smart City Project' and in its first phase more than 100 houseboats will get face-lift. New Delhi, Mar 12 (ANI): Delhi High Court issued notice to Google India, Facebook India and Twitter India over removal of fake news. Court sought response of Centre and social media organizations on taking action through designated officers of intermediaries for removal of fake news on social media platforms. Study reveals persistent sleep difficulties in infancy linked to heightened risk of childhood anxieties

New Delhi, Mar 11 (ANI): Risk of developing childhood anxieties and emotional disorders are linked with persistent sleep difficulties during the first 12 months of life, indicates recent research. The research was published online in the journal, Archives of Disease in Childhood. Based on their findings, poor infant sleepers should be monitored for mental health issues in later childhood, advise the researchers. Disturbed sleep patterns were associated with heightened risks of childhood anxiety and emotional issues, the analysis showed. The emotional disorder includes any of the following: separation anxiety; social phobia; agoraphobia; obsessive-compulsive disorder; specific phobias; panic disorder; post-traumatic stress; generalised anxiety; depression; or bipolar disorder. Infants whose sleep problems were persistent and severe were also more than twice as likely to have separation anxiety, to fear getting hurt (physically), and to be more anxious generally by the age of 10.

BRO begins snow-clearing operation in Lahaul-Spiti
