New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): With the growing numbers of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in India, the medical stores at AIIMS in Delhi stocked masks and sanitizers to provide convenience to the people. With the guidelines of Union Health Ministry for using masks and washing hands frequently and usage of sanitizers, the sales of these items has increased rapidly. A medical store owner said, "We have availed sanitizers and masks in our shop and the sale has rapidly increased of these items. People are alert now and are using masks and sanitizers. " The other one said, "There are some who are spreading rumours regarding coronavirus so it should not happen." A total of 6 cases of coronavirus have been registered in India so far. According to Health Ministry, the fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported from New Delhi, Telangana, Rajasthan and three from Kerala.
Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 04 (ANI): Another positive case of coronavirus came in light when a person came from Italy to Delhi screened positive. The sample of four people from his family who lives in Bulandshahr has been sent for test. CMO of Bulandshahr, Dr KN Tiwari said, "There is no positive case of coronavirus in Bulandshahr. As you all are aware that a person in Delhi is confirmed positive who came from Italy, so he belongs to Bulandshahr. But his family has not shown any sign of coronavirus. So, we sent sample of 4 people for test in Lucknow lab because they have the contact history with someone who showed positive signs of coronavirus."
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan conducted a review meeting with senior officials from Delhi Government in the national capital on March 04. New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices were flat during early hours on Wednesday as investors assessed the economic fallout from fast-spreading coronavirus. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex was down by 6 points to 38,618 but the Nifty 50 edged higher by 12 points at 11,316. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty metal losing by nearly 1 per cent, PSU bank by 0.7 per cent and realty by 0.6 per cent. Among stocks, Tata Steel lost by 1.9 per cent at Rs 380.30 per share while Vedanta was down by 1.8 per cent, and JSW Steel by 0.9 per cent.
New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Congress leader Digvijaya Singh said that former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wanted to claim for the post chief minister in state. He said, "Last night Bharatiya Janata Party chartered 2 planes to take MLAs to Bengaluru. There were 4 MLAs in 12-seater plane. There were 3 MLAs from Congress, and one independent MLA. Their phones were taken away. These MLAs were taken away against their will." He further added, "The second charter plane was supposed to leave with MLAs at night. The chartered plane was told to leave at 9 am in morning when they didn't get any MLAs, then Shivraj Singh Chouhan who was about to claim chief ministerial post, returned to Bhopal with his men."

Hyderabad, Mar 04 (ANI): In a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Tuesday undertook a sanitisation drive in the area where the techie who tested positive for the virus stayed. Disinfectant was sprayed on the streets of Ravi colony, Mahindra Hills, in Hyderabad city where the 24-year-old man resided. The COVID-19 positive patient has been kept in an isolation ward at a state-run hospital in Hyderabad and is undergoing treatment. Telangana health authorities have said that his condition is stable and they are taking all measures to see that the infection doesn't spread. New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): The World Health Organization (WHO) has registered over 1,700 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection outside of China while the total number of infected people has exceeded 10,000. The WHO, in its coronavirus disease situation report, said that the number of confirmed cases outside of China had risen by 1,792 to 10,566 in 72 countries. It said the death toll outside of China had gone up by 37 to 166. According to the WHO, the number of confirmed cases in China stands at 80,304, the death count has reached 2,946. The overall number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has increased by 1,922 to 90,870. In India, Union Health Ministry informed that six positive cases have been registered so far. According to Health Ministry, the fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported from New Delhi, Telangana, Rajasthan and three from Kerala.

New Delhi, Mar 04 (ANI): Facebook launched Messenger in 2011 and now it has decided to make the app simpler, faster, and smaller by reducing its core code and redesigning its features. In an official blog, the company explained how adding features such as video calling, GIFs, and location sharing made Messenger more complex. Now, as part of its Project LightSpeed, Messenger has been redesigned to be twice as fast and one-fourth in size of the current version. The updated Messenger downloads and updates faster for all, including those with low connectivity. To make it simpler, Facebook also reduced the contact list from 40 versions to one that is consistent across the app. The redesigned Messenger will roll out to iOS in the coming weeks.
