Facebook builds new AI chatbot to keep workers' prying relatives at bay

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): The holiday season is here, which means prying relatives asking awkward questions. To keep such situations under control for its employees, Facebook has built a special chatbot. The new 'Liam Bot' chatbot teaches Facebook workers official company answers for dealing with thorny questions like, "Is Facebook destroying democracy?", The New York Times reports. Using artificial intelligence, the chatbot instructs the employee to answer with points including Facebook consults with experts on the matter. It has hired more moderators and is working on AI to spot hate speech, and so on. It also provides a step-by-step guide to help those asking easier questions related to account recovery.

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal is being shifted to Raj Ghat. She was on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar. She is on protest demanding death penalty for convicts in rape cases within 6 months. Speaking to ANI on the matter, Swati said, "I am being told by Delhi police that I can no longer sit at Jantar Mantar, they are shifting me to Raj Ghat, and I am continuing my indefinite strike."

Reflecting on photos helps young cancer survivors regain confidence: Study

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): While young cancer survivors face medical and psychological challenges and lack self-confidence even years after their final treatment, new research suggests survivors who retell their story through photography can significantly increase their self-esteem and self-efficacy. Two years after receiving their final treatments, 18 leukaemia survivors -- diagnosed as teenagers -- participated in the Framed Portrait Experience, an intervention which integrates therapeutic photography and re-enactment therapy. In the study by researchers at the University of Houston and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy, where the intervention was developed, participants were empowered to express emotions connected to their illness in order to make meaning of their experience. Sensex drags lower by 127 points, metals and banking stocks top losers

New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Fresh trade war fears and profit-booking by traders led equity indices to fall on December 03 amid expectations of another interest rate cut by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) later this week. The BSE SandP Sensex closed 127 points lower to 40,675 while the Nifty 50 was down by 54 points at 11,994. Except for Nifty IT and realty, all sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the red. Nifty PSU bank fell by as much as 2.8 per cent, metal by 2.6 per cent, media by 2.3 per cent and pharma by 1 per cent. Among stocks, Yes Bank tumbled by 7.57 per cent to close at Rs 59.20 per share as analysts questioned the quality of potential suitors who have promised to invest a total of two billion dollars. IndusInd Bank too slipped by 2.2 per cent to close at Rs 1,542.15 per share. Metal stocks took a beating with Tata Steel dipping by 5.2 per cent.

Dead rat found in mid-day meal, 9 children admitted in UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Dec 03 (ANI): At least 9 children were admitted to the hospital after consuming mid-day meal in UP's Muzaffarnagar. Children consumed mid-day meal which had a dead rat in it.
