Earlier in the day, they also received ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Ram Nath Kovind and first lady Savita Kovind.

He said, "Whole country came out on streets in Nirbhaya case, many years have passed now. We believe culprits should get such stringent punishment that people think 10 times before committing such crimes." "Delhi government has recommended the President to not show any leniency to culprits," CM added. "It is a failure of law and order, and enforcement. I believe the society should introspect from within," he further stated.

"Nearly 78% of depositors of this bank are now allowed to withdraw their entire account balance," said FM Nirmala. "As regard to promoters, we have ensured that the attached properties of the promoters can be given to RBI under certain conditions, so those properties can be auctioned out and the money can be given to depositors," she further added.
