FAU-G now globally available on Google play store

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): Online multiplayer action game 'FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards', which is the Indian alternative for PUB-G, has now released globally after launching in India on January 26, 2021. According to Mashable, the announcement was made by the games developer 'nCore Games' on Twitter where they stated, "FAU-G goes global #1 Free game FAU-G, proudly made in India, is now available worldwide". This means that now people outside of India would also be able to download the app on their Android smartphones. The game hasn't yet released for iOS smartphones and there's currently no information as to when it will be released for iOS users. FAU-G developers had also announced right after the game launch in India that FAU-G has become the top free game on Google Play. Cuttack's forest officer felicitated with UN's Asia Environmental Enforcement Award

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Feb 07 (ANI): Cuttack's forest officer Sasmita Lenka has been felicitated with UN's Asia Environmental Enforcement Award. Sasmita Lenka expressed her happiness over receiving the award as she has become the first from the state to receive it. Lenka said, "I am glad my work was noticed and I have been nominated for this prestigious award. No one has received it before from Odisha so I am feeling very happy and privileged. At 76.6%, Bihar on top in vaccinating healthcare workers: Govt

New Delhi, Feb 06 (ANI): Additional Secretary of Union Health Ministry, Manohar Agnani gave brief about states which have vaccinated over 60% of healthcare workers. He said, "Bihar 76.6%, MP 76.1%, Tripura 76%, U'khand 71.5%, Mizoram 69.7%, UP 69%, Kerala 68.1%, Odisha 67.6%, Rajasthan 67.3%, HP 66.8%, Lakshadweep 64.5%, Andaman 62.9%, Chhattisgarh 60.5%." Among above listed states, Bihar topped in vaccinating healthcare workers.

IIT Kanpur develops unmanned drone-helicopter

Kanpur (UP), Feb 05 (ANI): IIT Kanpur's Aeronautics Department in collaboration with a start-up have developed an unmanned drone-helicopter. This drone-helicopter can be used for long-endurance surveillance and vaccine distribution. With the capacity to carry weight up to 5kg, it can cover distance of 50km. As the weight reduces, the distance can be increased to 100km. Drone-helicopter can fly up to 11,500 feet but the long range trails are to be held soon. Department of Aerospace Engineering's Professor Abhishek said, "It operates on petrol and can go working for straight 3-4 hours. It can be used for vaccine distribution in far-flung areas."

COVID-19: No deaths reported in past 3 weeks in 251 districts, informs Health Ministry

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): The Union Health Ministry on February 04 informed that 251 districts in India have not reported any COVID related deaths in the last 3 weeks. "There are two states that have 70% of the active cases - Kerala and Maharashtra. 47 districts haven't reported new COVID-19 cases in last 3 weeks and 251 districts have not reported any COVID related deaths in the last 3 weeks," said Union Health Secretary.

With this ceremony, the work has started for the development and redevelopment of Central Vista Avenue. The Central Vista Avenue starting from North and South Block to India Gate, which includes the Rajpath, its adjoining lawns and canals, rows of tree, Vijay Chowk and the India Gate plaza, is a 3 km long stretch. The government has decided to refurbish and improve the avenue, as part of the comprehensive transformation of Central Vista. The government approved a proposal for the development of Central Vista Avenue with an estimated cost of Rs 608 crores. Moreover, the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has been entrusted to carry out this important work.
