Patna (Bihar), Sep 09 (ANI): Sanjay Paswan, Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that Nitish Kumar should give BJP a chance for a term. While speaking to ANI, Sanjay Paswan said, "We trusted Nitish Kumar with the post of Bihar Chief Minister for 15 years, he should give us the chance for one term." The JD (U) recently placed a poster outside their party office in Patna which read, "kyun karein vichar jab hai hi Nitish Kumar" to which RJD responded by putting up a poster with a counter poem slamming the ruling party.
Geneva (Switzerland), Sep 09 (ANI): Posters and banners highlighting human rights violations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were installed in front of the United Nations in Geneva. A tent has also been set up outside the United Nations in Geneva where special documentary on Baloch genocide will be screened. Several meetings will also be held in the tent in which human rights activists, Members of European Parliament and other NGOs will participate. 42nd session of UN Human Rights Council is underway at UN.

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Sep 09 (ANI): Odisha Sports and Youth Secretary Vishal Dev flagged off the fourth Biju Patnaik Himalayan Expedition from Kalinga Stadium in Odisha on September 09. The expedition will see 15 local students summiting Mt Stok Kangri in Ladakh from September 12th to 24th. While speaking to media, Vishal Dev said, "This is the fourth year, we started in 2016. The idea was to expose the young boys and girls of our state to adventure sports. We have done it successfully three times. 15 boys and girls have been selected. They will be going to Mt. Stok Kangri with a height of 20,187ft in the Leh Ladakh region. They will get to learn lessons in leadership and teamwork. They will be back on September 27." Stok Kangri peak is staggering 6,000 meter above sea level. The expedition is organised by Odisha's Sports and Youth department in association with Tata Steel Adventure Foundation.

Kupwara (JandK), Sep 09 (ANI): The Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt by a Pakistani BAT (Border Action Team) squad along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The action was performed by the Indian Army on the first week of August month. New Delhi [India], Sept 7 (ANI): United States' Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster on Friday hosted a cultural diplomacy event celebrating Indian culture with a special Kuchipudi dance performance featuring Y. The deceased has been identified as Shankar, while the accused as Raghuveer Kumbar. Deceased Shankar had retired from police service just three months ago. Further investigation is on.

Munnar (Kerala), Sep 09 (ANI): A one-year-old girl child had fallen out of a moving car in Kerala's Munnar region of Idukki district on September 08. The child's parents did not know that their child was not there in the car and she had fallen. This entire incident was captured in CCTV. The girl child was later rescued and handed over to the parents.

During the course of investigation CCTV Footage of the area were collected and analyzed. After the detailed analysis of CDR, CCTV footage of one of the accused namely Md Razi was identified. After sustained interrogation he disclosed that he committed this robbery along with his associates. Different teams were constituted and constant raids were conducted as a result his associates.Police recovered a country made pistol, Jewellery and one lakh cash robbers' possession.
