Mumbai, Aug 30 (ANI): Lifeline Express (LLE), India's first hospital train, arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and was inaugurated for its new set of trips. Lifeline Express has provided medical treatment to around 12 lakh patients in remote locations across the nation till now.

Ganesh Chaturthi: Demand soars for different models of Lord Ganesha idols

Hyderabad, Aug 29 (ANI): As the city gears up for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the demand for various models of Lord Ganesha idols increased in Hyderabad. A vendor Naveen Jaiswal, on Thursday, told ANI, "We have different kinds of Ganesh models like Shivaji Ganesh, Saukar Ganesh, Dagdu Ganesh and I bring all these models from Mumbai. The models are available from Rs 500 to Rs 40,000. Due to heavy rains, there is an increase in the price of the models this year". Jaiswal added, "We are seeing demand for models made up of black and white marble this year". Talking about eco-friendly Ganesh models he said, "This time we have less number of models which are eco-friendly but for coming years we are planning to increase that number and keep it safe for the environment". Letter is not even worth paper on which it was written: MEA on Pak Minister's letter to UN

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar cleared India's stand on letter by Pakistan Minister Shireen Mazari to the United Nations. He said that the letter is not even worth the paper on which it was written. "Don't want to give credence to it by reacting," said Kumar. Pakistan's Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari, in a letter on the withdrawal of Articles 35A and 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, addressed to multiple UN officials. He quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying that people were "dying" in Jammu and Kashmir.

Royal house of Sirohi claims lineage to Lord Rama

Sirohi (Rajasthan), Aug 29 (ANI): A royal house of Sirohi has claimed that they are descendants of Lord Rama's bloodline. According to pre-emperor of Sirohi, Raghuveer Singh Devda, he is the descendant of Lord Rama's brother Laxman. Devda is not the only one who is claiming that he is the descendant of Lord Rama, earlier BJP lawmaker Diya Kumari, the former Mewar royal family also claimed that they are descendants of Lord Rama. Congress leader and Rajasthan Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has also made a similar claim recently.

India condemns Pakistani leadership statements on Kashmir, it's irresponsible: MEA

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar briefed about India's stand on getting reactions from Pakistani leaders on Kashmir issue. Terming the statements by the Pakistani leaders 'highly irresponsible,' Kumar condemned the statements and cleared that Kashmir issue is an internal matter to India. "These statements including the references to Jihad and to incite violence in India this is intended to project an alarming situation in India, which is far from the ground reality. Pakistan needs to understand that the world has seen through their provocative and unsubstantial rhetoric which is based on lies and deceit," said Raveesh Kumar.
