'Haven't eluded any court, have enough evidence to prove I am not guilty': Vijay Mallya

London (U.K.), June 13 (ANI): Absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya on Tuesday appeared before Westminster Magistrates' Court for his extradition case hearing in London, and said that all allegations made against him are false as he has enough evidence to prove he is not guilty. Mallya, who is wanted in India on loan defaults to several banks, stressed that he has not eluded any court and has nothing more to say.

'I wasn't called a thief by the crowd at Oval ground': Vijay Mallya

London (UK), June 13 (ANI): Absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya on Tuesday reacted on the booing at the Oval stadium in London, where he was called a 'thief' by the crowd. Mallya said that he was not called a 'thief' and he has the video evidence to prove it. He further said apart of two persons who were yelling at him, there were many people who came forward to wish him well.

Nepal agitating parties to start protest denouncing elections

Kathmandu, Nepal June 12 (ANI): The fate of the second phase polls scheduled for June 28 is pushed further into uncertainty because of the disgruntled indigenous parties of Nepal. The Rastriya Janata Party has turned down the proposal of ruling alliance to participate in the polls. The leader of Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal claimed that the election in Terai will not be possible without RJP-N's participation. The ruling parties had also called the agitating parties for talks on Saturday but it also failed as Rastriya Janata Party stuck to its demand of constitution amendment. In Saturday's meeting, the agitating forces presented forward a proposal to push back the election in state. In order to ensure participation of the Madhesh-based parties in the election, the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government tabled an amendment proposal over the act pertaining political parties in the parliament, which opens the way for the registration of the RJP in the Nepal Election Commission.

London attacks: Police ask people to remain vigilant

London (U.K.), June 04 (ANI): After two terrorist incidents, the United Kingdom Police on Sunday launched several helpline numbers and asked people to remain vigilant. The police, during a press conference confirmed that three men had led the attacks and a hunt is underway to nab them. Two terror attacks wreck havoc in London

London (U.K.), June 04 (ANI): Two major terror incidents wrecked havoc in the capital city of the United Kingdom on Saturday night. In the first incident at the London Bridge, witnesses say the van was reported to have swerved onto the pavement and there have been unconfirmed reports of gunfire, as per sources. At the Borough Market, there were reports of multiple stabbings, people were forced to take cover under the tables in a restaurant as a man entered and stabbed two people. Just few hours after the incidents, the Metropolitan Police declared the incidents as terrorist attacks: "At 0025hrs 4/6/17 the incidents at #LondonBridge and #BoroughMarket were declared as terrorist incidents.," it tweeted on its official page. The UK police are currently searching for three suspects who may be armed after the 'major incident' on London Bridge. In a statement released by the London Ambulance Service, it confirmed the number of injured victims as 20.
