"On one hand, Pakistan is a signatory of international conventions against enforced disappearances and on the other, they are busy abducting people. We urge international community to take action against enforced disappearances of Baloch and other people in Pakistan," he added.
Birmingham, United Kingdom, June 24, 2019: - A number of Kashmiri political activists and leaders from across Europe and the United Kingdom recently gathered in Birmingham for the 'International Kashmir conference on Peace, Human Rights and Counter Terrorism.' The discussions in the conference primarily focused at the appalling living standards of locals in the illegally occupied regions of PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan and deliberations were made to find an immediate solution to the prevailing crisis. The talks also highlighted the suppressive designs of Pakistan that were aimed at further subjugating the locals while plundering their resources with impunity. Activists highlighted that the territory of PoK was being exploited by Pakistan through its multi-pronged designs. While on one side, it was regularly plundering Kashmir's natural resources; on other, it was using the land to carry out its terror activities.
New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): Former Pakistan Finance Minister Abdul Sattar passed away on Sunday. He was 88."We are deeply saddened to announce that former foreign minister Abdul Sattar has passed away. He was an illustrious diplomat and an accomplished author," Pakistan's foreign office said in a statement. Sattar served as the Foreign minister under then-president Pervez Musharraf government from 1999 to 2002. He was the part of Mussaraf delegation who visited India for the historic Agra Summit in 2001. Sattar also served as the foreign secretary from 1986-88."We offer our profound condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul," the statement added.
Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Jun 24 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur is on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates. He is in a bid to attract investment to his State in various sectors including horticulture and tourism. He arrived in Dubai on Sunday. He was accompanied by Industries Minister Bikram Singh and several other senior officials of the State. Janakpur (Nepal), June 23 (ANI): In a bid to promote holistic living and physical wellbeing, the government in Nepal has proposed to include yoga in the curriculum of studies, Nepal's Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokharel said on Saturday. Addressing a Yoga Day event, Pokharel said that the existing curriculum is being revised and the new one would also include yoga, making the education system more practical, health-centric and comprehensive. Nepal on Friday also marked the 5th International Day of Yoga organizing various events in the capital Kathmandu city as well as in Janakpur. Humla (Nepal), June 20 (ANI): A search operation for a jeep that plunged into the Karnali River in Nepal's Humla district a day before, entered its second day on Wednesday. The search and rescue operation led by Nepal Police, the Army and the Armed Police Force has been underway since Tuesday afternoon after the jeep heading towards Kailebalu veered off the road and plunged into the Karnali River. Earlier, the Armed Police Force were flown to the most remote and mountainous district of Nepal. The fated jeep with the number LU 1 JA 7166 fell off into the river at around 12:15 PM on Tuesday. Though the exact number of people who were on board the jeep is not known, the names of eight people have been released. As per the District Administration missing persons along with the jeep are identified as Sindhu Shahi Hamal, Chandra Hamal, Mani Shahi, Nain Singh Bhandari, Basanti Shahi, Nanda Devi Singh, Gokul Sunar and Kaur Kami.

New Delhi, June 15: A latest intelligence report reveals that Babbar Khalsa International, a pro-Khalistan group, is working to strengthen its network across Britain.The report says that Babbar Khalsa International is receiving funds from Pakistan's spy agency, the ISI, to expand their presence worldwide. The ISI is also making attempts to bolster other pro-Khalistan groups in cities like Birmingham, Derby and Coventry. These groups are also trying to increase their influence at gurudwaras and other religious places across Britain. With the help of pro-Khalistan organizations, the Pakistani spy agency is making attempts to influence Sikh immigrants and brainwash them in acting against India.
