Madhesi lawmaker demands PM Oli to deliver on Constitution amendment commitment

Kathmandu (Nepal), Sept 12 (ANI): Madhesi lawmaker Pramila Kumari, a member of Nepal's Upper House and the representative from the Federal Socialist Forum, demanded for fulfillment of commitments made by Prime Minister KP Oli to amend the constitution. Oli, in his quest for power, had promised to amend the constitution for the upliftment of communities such as Madhesis, Muslims, Dalits, women and the indigenous people, who lag behind in the Human Development Index. Kumari, while addressing the meeting of Upper House, also questioned Oli's intentions regarding the promises he had made and lamented his government's treatment of Madhesis as "non-citizens". Islamabad (Pakistan), Sep 12 (ANI): Reham Khan, the ex-wife of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has revealed that the Pakistan government has been mounted forced abductions of the Sindhi social activist and nationalists. Commenting on a video posted by Baloch Republican Party spokesman Sher Muhammad Bugti on Twitter, Khan explicitly said about the disappearances in Pakistan's Sindh province. She said, "The abduction of Sindhi social activists and Sindhi nationalists is a grave injustice. They should be treated as per the constitution and law of the state. The families of these disappeared people need closure as to whether they are alive or dead." 3 arrested with 1359 kg cannabis hidden in oil tanker

Dharmanagar (Tripura), Sep 08 (ANI): In continuation of the war against illicit drug trafficking, police seized a huge quantity of cannabis hidden in an oil tanker. Police have arrested 3 persons were trying to smuggled the cannabis out of the state. The market value of the seized cannabis is approx Rs. 1 crore. The seized cannabis weighed a total of 1359 Kilograms and was concealed in 99 packets. Police are on the lookout for few more people involved in this crime.
