New Delhi, Aug 11 (ANI): A shooting incident took place in Canada's Fredericton on Friday resulted in the death of at least four people, including two police officers. One suspect has been held, with the police saying that the situation is now under control, CNN reported. The incident took place in the city's Brookside Drive area, and the Fredericton Police confirmed via their official Twitter account that, "Of the four people killed in this morning's shootings on Brookside Drive, two were Fredericton Police officers."

Naypyidaw (Myanmar), Aug 08 (ANI): The international entry-exit checkpoints between India and Myanmar border were formally opened, said Vikram Misri, Ambassador of India to Myanmar on Wednesday. The checkpoints were opened simultaneously on Tamu-Moreh border between Manipur and Sagaing division and on the Zokhawthar-Rikhawdar border between Mizoram and Chin state. People will now be able to cross the land border between India and Myanmar holding visas and passports. New Delhi, Aug 07 (ANI): Pakistan's Prime Minister-elect, Imran Khan on Tuesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for an ongoing inquiry against him for allegedly misusing helicopters owned by the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Geo News quoted sources as saying that a questionnaire was handed over to the cricketer-turned-politician. The 15 questions pertain to Khan's illegal use of KP government-owned Mi-17 and an Ecureuil helicopter for 74 hours, resulting in the loss of (Pakistani) Rs. 2.1 million to the state exchequer. On July 18, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman had asked for more time to appear before the NAB, citing unavailability due to campaigning for general elections. He said on Tuesday that the state is burning because the laws aren't allowing available water to be properly utilised. He tweeted, "California wildfires are being magnified and made so much worse by the bad environmental laws which aren't allowing massive amounts of readily available water to be properly utilized.
