Kampala (Uganda), Jul 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the Parliament of Uganda and said Africa has 60% of the world's arable land, but produces just 10% of the global output. He added that India will strengthen cooperation and mutual capabilities in combating terrorism and extremism, keeping cyberspace safe and secure and supporting the UN in advancing and keeping peace. He further stated India will work with African nations to keep the oceans open and free for the benefit of all nations.
Kampala (Uganda), Jul 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday left for South Africa on the final leg of his three-nation tour to attend the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) summit. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. A number of agreements and MoUs in the areas of defence, trade, culture, agriculture and dairy cooperation are scheduled to be signed during the Prime Minister's visit, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

Vancouver (Canada), Jul 24 (ANI): Naela Quadri Baloch, President of World Baloch Women's Forum has urged the people of Balochistan to boycott Pakistan's general elections on July 25. In a video statement issued from Canada, she said, "Balochistan is an occupied territory, a free and sovereign country occupied by Pakistan and Pakistan is violating all international laws in United Nations conventions". She added, "Pakistan is responsible for genocide of Baloch people that is ongoing and they show that Baloch people are part of their parliamentary process. They are forcefully abducting Baloch people. They are displacing Baloch villages, women and children and they are taking them to army camps for forceful casting of votes, and months before the elections they had started this process. Baloch people do not want to be a part of Pakistan".
