Rays Power commissions 5-Mw solar project in Haryana

The company has started work on the largest private solar park with capacity of 100 Mw in Rajasthan

Rays Power Experts on Monday said it had commissioned a five-megawatt (Mw) solar power project in Haryana.

"The company has successfully commissioned a turnkey order of the project in Khera district of Haryana. Rays Power Experts conducted complete designing of the project, its technical and engineering ground works, installation process and commissioning of the project," a release issued here said.

"Haryana is a strategic market for us and we are geared up to make use of innovative technology and skilled field manpower to execute the project in time and deliver the best to our customers. Rays Experts is committed to aggressively expand its business portfolio," company's Director Rahul Gupta said.
 

The company has started work on the largest private solar park with capacity of 100 Mw in Rajasthan, he said.

"We expect to set up 150 Mw utility of complete turnkey projects and 20 Mw rooftop project in FY15," said Gupta.

The company has solar plants with 137-Mw capacity in its portfolio. Around 92 Mw have successfully been commissioned and 45 Mw projects are under execution, which also include the largest solar project on a dam barrier in Navi Mumbai.
