IVRCL surges nearly 5% after bagging orders aggregating Rs 959.04 crore.

These include a Bura irrigation and settlement scheme rehabilitation project awarded by the National Irrigation Board, Nairobi, Kenya, valued at Rs 471.52 crore, and a Rs 124.70-crore order for construction of irrigation water tanks, including annexed building and infrastructure, in Kuwait.

The water and power divisions of the company have also bagged contracts worth Rs 314.75 crore and Rs 48.07 crore respectively, for executing works in Bharatpur, Jodhpur and Bhopal, the company said in a press release on Monday.

In the intraday deal, the stock opened at Rs 47.25 and made a high of Rs 49.85. Around 1 million shares were traded in BSE.
